Lil Wayne’s “Welcome To Tha Carter” Tour sells out in 5-10 minutes 

This week, Lil Wayne announced his new “Welcome To Tha Carter” Tour. This will kick off on April 4, in Minneapolis. 28 dates will be available, with the tour concluding on May 13, in Los Angeles. These dates are also all sponsored by Rolling Loud. Tickets officially went on sale on Friday, as fans were quick to visit ticketing platforms, in order to make sure their purchases are secured, for the tour.

However, many fans are missing out on the Welcome To Tha Carter Tour. A lot took to social media to voice their frustrations, tickets supposedly sold out in between 5-10 minutes, for each city listed on the tour. Resale prices are also increasing, on those marketplace platforms such as Ticketmaster.

Wayne’s announcement of this tour also hints that his highly anticipated “Tha Carter VI” album is coming. Last August, he revealed at OVO Fest, that this project is coming soon. The announcement made during the Young Money reunion performance, of OVO Fest.
