With Valentine’s Day around the corner, Too $hort decided to give a player’s guide to his male fans. Throughout his career, Too $hort has presented himself as the ultimate player. Too $hort emphasized this during his Valentine’s Day player’s guide, telling men with more than one love interest to take all of his women out on Valentine’s day.
Too $hort later retracted this on his Twitter, only hours later. A series of tweets would come from the legendary Bay Area rapper, saying he does not agree with the statements he made. The interview was for DJ Vlad’s Vlad TV and Too $hort said he did it all for the camera.
Acknowledging the dirty lyrics in his music, Too $hort said he has always tried to balance it with his work in the local community. Too $hort went on to say, all he wants is to see young people win. His goal is to be a help to the young people, not hurt them the way he felt he did in the video.
Perhaps the legendary rapper was a bit hard on himself.
