Trey Songz denies claim made by woman, that he punched her repeatedly, while inside bathroom of bowling alley in NYC

Trey Songz accused of punching woman in NYC

Over the past year and a half, Trey Songz has gone through many legal issues. Many of these stem from lawsuits that allege that he sexually assaulted numerous women. The latest one was in Las Vegas, but got dismissed, due to statute of limitations.

However, Trey is now in even more trouble. According to TMZ, a woman in New York City claims that she was was punched in the face by the R&B star, in the bathroom of a bowling alley.  This allegedly occurred in late October, with the woman ending up needing to be treated for visible minor injuries.

The woman is also said to have worked at this bowling alley. It’s unclear what caused this altercation to occur, though. Police now want to speak to Trey, as an investigation is currently ongoing.

Trey has since denied this claim, through his attorney. Mitchell Schuster claims that he’s confident that Trey will be cleared of any crimes. This attorney even believes that the accuser simply wants money and fame.

“A source close to the investigation informs us that TS has been cooperative with authorities and expects that when all the evidence is reviewed, he will be exonerated. This is another instance where those involved try to blame the celebrity with hopes of getting fame or riches.”

Trey has been quiet with music releases, since late 2020. At the time, he put out his eighth studio album, “Back Home.” That went on to debut at number 15 on the Billboard 200 chart. This project included collaborations with Summer Walker, Ty Dolla $ign, Davido, and Swae Lee.
