Trey Songz recently turned himself in to police, after allegedly punching two people at NYC bowling alley

Trey Songz turned himself in for alleged bowling alley assault

Since the beginning of 2021, Trey Songz has gotten into plenty of concerning legal situations. This includes punching a security guard at the AFC Championship Game in Kansas City, as well as being accused of various sexual assault crimes, from women.

Back in October, Trey was also accused of punching two people at a bowling alley in New York City. As a result of that incident, one person had to be hospitalized. According to TMZ, Trey apparently went on to turn himself in, in late November. The R&B star was given a desk appearance ticket for assault, and was soon released.

One of the victims was a woman who was supposedly punched, while in the bowling alley’s restroom. The second is reportedly a man who was punched in the eye, who eventually refused to receive medical treatment. Trey’s attorney, Mitch Schuster, has since released a statement to TMZ, where he’s confident regarding his client being cleared of any wrongdoing.

“We have been proactively communicating with NY law enforcement, the DA, and all those involved. While we will respectfully and proactively work through all the appropriate channels we are confident that Trey will be fully cleared of any wrong doing.”

It’s also been quite a while since Trey put out new music. His last project was his “Back Home” album, in late 2020. That was his eighth studio album, and debuted at number 15 in the US.
