One of the biggest news stories of March 20, 2012 was a shooting at Tyga’s performance in Omaha, Nebraska. The Young Money rapper got into an argument with fans, while he was on stage performing. Soon, the argument turned violent and the fans began to rush the stage. Tyga and his entourage were rushed off stage and into vehicles.

While everyone got away, not everyone was unscathed, as a fan was shot and Honey Cocaine, an artist signed to Tyga’s label, was shot. Immediately following the incident, Tyga took to his Twitter and said those haters were not fans and said there is mutual love between himself and his fans. Still, the story circulated the internet.

Tyga returned to his Twitter and spoke, directly, about the incident. Tweeting about the shooting, Tyga posted “Shit happens and as a man I deal with the decisions I make.”
