Vanessa Bryant receives $13 million in Kobe crash photos lawsuit

Kobe Bryant‘s widow Vanessa Bryant continues to score massive victories in her lawsuit against the L.A. County Sheriff’s Deputies who shared photos of the crash site where Bryant and their 13-year-old daughter died. Seven others also lost their lives, as a result of that crash.

Bryant initially filed a lawsuit against LA County, as she won $15 million, in 2022. However, she also earned an additional $13 million from this lawsuit, on Tuesday. According to TMZ, these funds account for Bryant’s children. Therefore, she has now received $28.8 million, from her victory in this lawsuit. Bryant went on to donate the initial $15 million earned, to her Mamba & Mambacita Sports Foundation. $16 million was the original result, but was reduced to $15 million, after an error was revealed.

Bryant’s children are 20-year-old Natalia, 6-year-old Bianka and 3-year-old Capri. They found also be partitioners of this $13 million, in the future. They could cash in on these funds, if they cite the suffering that they’ve caused due to the crash site photos.

“Today marks the successful culmination of Mrs. Bryant’s courageous battle to hold accountable those who engaged in this grotesque conduct.” said Bryant’s attorney Luis Li. “She fought for her husband, her daughter, and all those in the community whose deceased family were treated with similar disrespect. We hope her victory at trial and this settlement will put an end to this practice.”
