This morning, Treach took to Twitter and made what has been hip hop’s second-biggest story of the year. Getting on Twitter, Treach revealed Vin Rock was no longer a part of the Naughty by Nature group, firing him. Vin Rock would make an Instagram post, subliminally addressing the situation.

Throughout the day, the hip hop media has been covering the story of the Naughty by Nature breakup. Already, the group has been compared to Mobb Deep, citing their success in the 1990s and their 2010s breakup. Once again, Twitter was the platform used to express the sentiments.

Seeing how he is the primary topic of discussion, Vin Rock finally decided to speak out in his own defense. Being “fired” via the internet is something most would take offense to, especially in a partnership, seeing how there are two sides. Vin Rock took to Twitter to say the tour dates are still on and the owner cannot be fired, though Treach responded saying the dates were not off.
