Virgil Abloh’s Louis Vuitton x Nike collaboration launches
Last fall, the fashion and music industry was shocked, after finding out that fashion designer Virgil Abloh suddenly passed away. This was due to Abloh battling a rare form of cancer, for several years.
Abloh was an icon in the fashion world, as he was the Creative Director at Louis Vuitton. He also founded the Off-White brand. Abloh would often launch different Louis Vuitton and Nike sneaker collaborations, as well.
Now, another Louis Vuitton and Nike collaboration has been launched today. These come in royal and white, along with eight other designs, as this pair was also designed by Abloh. These come in high and mid releases, as the lows retail for $2,750 and the mid deigns go for $3,450.
These Nike X Louis Vuitton sneakers are in high demand, as fans have to enter a waiting room online, to make a purchase. They’ll have 10 minutes to be able to browse and make their purchase. Those can be done here.
Earlier this year, an auction was was held, where Nike and Louis Vuitton collab sneakers designed by Abloh were available. $25 million was earned, as the funds would go on to benefit Abloh’s Post-Modern Scholarship fund, which assists Black fashion designers.
