Young Thug sued by promoter for $150,000, due to canceled Atlanta concert, after Thug’s indictment

Young Thug sued by promoter for canceled Atlanta concert

It’s now been over three months, since Young Thug, Gunna, and 26 other members of their YSL crew were hit with a 56-count indictment. This is due to authorities in Atlanta stating that they committed RICO, murders, gang activities, and more. Thug and Gunna have each since both been denied requests for bond. They will both remain in jail until their trial dates in 2023. Thug was also recently hit with new drugs and guns charges.

Now, Thug is facing even more legal trouble. According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Thug is being sued by an Atlanta promoter, for $150,000, and breach of contract. This was due to Thug being able to perform at State Farm Arena, for the June 18 date. This concert date was a month and a half after Thug, indictment, though.

Fulton County State Court stated that Thug was set to be paid $300,000 for this concert, as he was given $150,000 in up front money. His performance was set to last for 45 minutes. A-1 Concert Entertainment filed this lawsuit, as the concert agreement was finalized, back in January. They are also seeking damages and funds to cover attorney fees. A-1 also added that they spoke to YSL Touring, about the refund. They replied that this would get done, but never did.
