Lil Keed has reportedly passed away
This week in hip-hop has been dominated by the news of Young Thug, Gunna, and 26 other individuals associated with their YSL record label/gang, being arrested. This was due to crimes of RICO, murder, criminal gang activity, and more. Thug was arrested at his Atlanta home on Monday, while Gunna was taken into custody on Wednesday. This was an 88-page, 56-count indictment.
However, one of the YSL artists who didn’t get taken into custody, was Lil Keed. Keed has been one of the hottest rising artists in Atlanta, over the past three years. Now, news is surfacing that Keed has reportedly died, at the young age of 24. The rumored cause of death has yet to officially be revealed.
There has yet to be an official confirmation of Keed’s passing on social media yet, from his friends or relatives. This news was initially revealed by Lil Gotit, on Instagram, another one of Atlanta’s hottest artists. He is also Keed’s blood brother.
Keed’s last project came in 2020, with his “Trapped On Cleveland” album. This album contained 37 tracks in total, with the deluxe edition. Keed collaborated with stars such as Travis Scott, Young Thug, 42 Dugg, Lil Baby, Chris Brown, and more, on this album.
