Yung Miami speaks on criticism about photos after Takeoff’s funeral
On Friday, Takeoff’s funeral was held, in his hometown of Atlanta. This was inside State Farm Arena, as fans who reside in Georgia were able to get free tickets, to the event. At this funeral, Quavo, Offset Drake, Quality Control Music execs, Takeoff’s family and more spoke out about the passing of Takeoff. Justin Bieber, Chloe Bailey and others also delivered amazing performances.
However, people on social media had plenty to say, after the funeral. Yung Miami was criticized for taking photos of herself in the outfit that she wore, to the event. Many believed that people shouldn’t have posted anything regarding the funeral, while others felt that people simply celebrated being there to honor Takeoff, and how they looked there.
Miami is signed to the same label as Takeoff, at Quality Control Music. As a result, she is addressing all of the backlash that she’s been taking, on social media. Miami explained in The Neighborhood Talk‘s Instagram comments section, how she wanted to come and support Takeoff regardless, and what she chose to do after the funeral is irrelevant.
