Zaytoven sells 560 songs from his catalog of music
Over the past year, we’ve seen plenty of artists decided to sell their catalogs, for significant amounts. Last fall, Future sold his for $10 million. This week, Justin Bieber sold his for $200 million.
Now, the latest major industry figure to sell their catalog, is platinum-producer, Zaytoven. According to Variety, Zay sold his to Ultra International Music Publishing. This catalog reportedly includes 560 of his records from 2005-2022. Among them are Migos‘ “Versace” and Travis Scott’s “3500.”
UIMP CEO and co-founder Patrick Moxey has since releases a statement, following the finalizing of this deal with Zaytoven.
“Zaytoven is an extraordinary talent. He is the Father of trap music and has been the driving force of much of how we define that genre. Gucci Mane, Migos, Future – he’s been right there with these artists from the beginning in 2004 right up to the present day. I’m proud to announce that after working with him since 2007 we continue to be focused on future success.”
Zaytoven is also known for his work with Future and Gucci Mane, over the years. Zay’s first major record came back in 2005, with Gucci Mane’s “Icy” single featuring Jeezy and Boo.
