Lil Tjay thanks fans for support in new video after recent shooting

It’s been over two months, since Lil Tjay was shot in Edgewater, NJ. He was with two friends at the time, as one of them were also reportedly shot. This was during a robbery attempt, as the shooter went on to be identified as Mohamed Konate. Konate was soon charged with three counts of first-degree attempted murder. The shootings went down at a Chipotle and at an Exxon Gas station.

On Tuesday, photos also surfaced of a Lil Tjay billboard that was placed in his hometown of The Bronx. It read “I’m back.” That came after rumors that Tjay had recently been released from the hospital.

Now, Tjay has posted a new video to his Instagram feed, where he is thanking his fans for the support. Tjay was seen with a neck brace, all while revealing that new music is coming.

“Hey, what’s going on, y’all? It’s your boy Tjay, man. I’m just checking in with y’all. I just wanna say, thanks for the love, thanks for the support. I been looking at the DMs, the comments, and everything else, and I feel love. Seven shots, it was tough, you know? Most people don’t survive it, but I’m here. Here for a reason, and new music coming soon. We gonna come back stronger than ever. Love y’all.”
