This week, 2 Chainz picked up a lot of flack when he was robbed in San Francisco. His tour in California was full of setbacks, as 2 Chainz was arrested for weed possession when the tour rolled through Los Angeles. Most have zoned in on 2 Chainz and company getting robbed and them running.
Recently, the bodyguards spoke out on the situation. They said the only reason they ran was because 2 Chainz ran. Later, the guards said 2 Chainz was set up, plus there is no crime in running for one’s safety. With someone on the level of 2 Chainz, he needs to take all the necessary precautions.
2 Chainz is now back on the East Coast with his tour, but he took time out to speak to his hometown radio station. Hot 107.9 talked to 2 Chainz and they allowed him to clear the air on his situation. Speaking on running, 2 Chainz said the size of the gun is what caused him to run.
