Gunna says “God is good” on Instagram amid RICO case
Young Thug and Gunna have been incarcerated since early May. This is due to a 56-count RICO indictment, that also included 26 other members of their YSL crew. Since then, Thug and Gunna’s requests for bond have each been denied three times. They will both be heading to trial in January.
However, it seems Gunna may possibly receiving good news soon. In a new Instagram story, the Atlanta rapper said “God is good.” Many believe that this could be a sign that Gunna has seen new developments in this case that will be working in his favor. This comes after Gunna recently filed a fourth motion, in an attempt to receive bail.
Prior to this RICO case, Gunna had an amazing start to 2022. He released his fourth studio album, “DS4EVER,” as that went on to become his second straight number one solo album. That project was led by the smash hit record “Pushin P,” featuring Future and Young Thug. That has since been nominated for Best Rap Song, for the 2023 Grammys. Thug and Gunna also hit number one last summer, with their YSL “Slime Language 2” album.
