In court documents obtained by TMZ, Long claims the woman has been harassing her for more than two years. The actress says she does not know McDonald but describes her as a stalker who has repeatedly attempted to contact her.
According to the filing, Long alleges that McDonald has sent numerous unwanted gifts including flowers, cards, and other packages over the years. The situation escalated when the woman allegedly began showing up at Long’s home.
Long claims McDonald appeared at her residence on two separate occasions. Most recently, the woman allegedly rang the actress’s doorbell on Saturday, prompting Long to contact authorities. Police were reportedly called to the scene, and the woman was arrested.
Previous incident allegedly occurred in the middle of the night
The recent encounter was not the first time the situation turned alarming.
According to Long’s court filing, the same woman previously appeared outside her home during the night in 2024. The actress claims the woman demanded that she open the door.
Police responded to the incident and issued what Long described as a “strong warning” to the woman at that time. However, the warning apparently did not stop the alleged behavior.
After the second visit to Long’s home, authorities reportedly arrested the woman.
Judge denies temporary restraining order pending hearing
Despite Long’s request for immediate legal protection, the court has not yet issued the restraining order.
Long reportedly asked the judge to grant protection not only for herself but also for her two children and her mother.
However, the judge denied the temporary restraining order request for now.
Instead, the court scheduled a hearing in April to further review the case and determine whether the restraining order should be granted.
