Just three weeks ago, Regina King was happy, celebrating the New Year. On Twitter, fans had her trending, some saying she was under the influence of alcohol. Meanwhile, there were tons of other people, who saw her trending, and just wanted to add how beautiful they thought she was. It was beautiful to begin the year celebrating someone’s beauty.
Regina King began her career, back in the 1970s, as a child actress. She paid her dues, taking on smaller, supporting, roles before she was able to land the starring roles she has now. Starring wasn’t all that King wanted to do, however. King also wanted the ability to produce her own films, and now she makes nothing but hits.
Only three weeks into the New Year and there is bad news to report. Regina King has lost her son, Ian Alexander, Jr. Right now, there are a lot of rumors floating around on the internet. While there are a lot of rumors, there are few facts. Sadly, Regina King’s son died sometime last night, or this morning, and no foul play is suspected. Instead, they’re saying Alexander committed suicide.
